What
is Pilates?
Pilates
is a system of exercises that engage the total body. Pilates will challenge the deep muscles that support the core, while
providing a balanced blend of strength and flexibility training that can improve flexibility, balance and posture.
Pilates
focus is on quality of movement rather than quantity, which makes one feel invigorated rather than exhausted after a session.
Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no one muscle group is overworked but rather the body works as an efficient, holistic
system in sport and daily life.
What
is Yamuna Body Rolling?
Yamuna Body Rolling is
a revolutionary approach to health and fitness. Using 6-10 inch balls, following specific routines, you literally roll your
muscles out like dough. It allows you to work specific muscles in detail, to create suppleness in tight areas and optimize
range of motion. Yamuna Body Rolling re-educates muscles and stimulates bone, creating positive, permanent changes in the
body. The ball moves on muscles to stretch them, dislodges tension and discomfort, increases blood flow and promotes healing.
